Goals & Values
One goal is to help kids learn to follow
direction. Some do, some don't, again
the kids themselves dictate what they do or do not
do; they are not forced or pushed by staff to do
anything they do not want to do.
We know that some players will take 5 weeks to leave
mom or dad’s side and others will be running around
at full speed straight away. Wherever the child is
in their development, we respect that, and let them
decide when it is time to "participate".
We know that sharing is not
something that preschoolers want to do, that is why
we have enough balls so that every player gets their
own ball and we run activities that allow them to
use their ball.
These classes have been wonderful for these kids and
I see the huge differences (in soccer
skills, understanding and movement)
between players who are first timers and players who
have done it before. That to us means the program is
a huge success.
We are not pushing kids to be top athletes
or put any pressure or anxiety on them
to play. It is not soccer as such, that is just the
tool we use for teaching.
Soccer is an excellent tool to teach kids game
skills and life skills. Through Kinder Soccer
your child will have the opportunity to:
- Sharpen motor skills through our proven soccer
curriculum
- Enhance physical fitness through regular, safe
exercise
- Focus on teamwork and sharing through group
participation
- Develop character through lessons on positive
attitude, honesty, fair play, respect, self control,
kindness, and perseverance
Mission
Our mission is to introduce children to the game
of soccer in a fun and positive environment.
Dedicated to teaching the true art and spirit of
soccer with the power of lots of encouragement and
high fives.
